Educational Session:  "Selling and Marketing in a Down Economy Using Digital/Web Technologies"
Jeff Molander, Molander & Associates Inc.

Jeff will discuss how successful associations/member organizations are (should be) using the Web LESS as an advertising vehicle and MORE as a content-rooted "honeypot" for member recruitment.  As the economy has worsened, organizations are challenged to KEEP members and by using a content or publishing approach they're managing to survive and thrive.  Jeff discusses how to begin by listening to what members & potential members want to read/view/hear about (content creation strategy), use of simple/cost effective social/Web 2.0 media to take first steps, cost/time justification, etc.  He will bring a few "association best practices" to discuss as case studies.
